Robert Chase

Founder and Developer of RouteConnect Software – a Route, Fleet, and Logistics Management package used by major distribution firms and government agencies nationwide – Data Scientist, CFO, and Economist. RouteConnect Consulting is responsible for creating a vehicle fleet route optimization system and integrates Xora Mobility Solutions with existing back end systems for clients 

 

The Vehicle Fleet Route Optimization System has been used by the third largest county in the U.S., the largest metal recycling company in the world, the largest distributor of medical gases in the world.

Using raw map data, Robert created a complete vehicle dispatching system by integrating with the clients back end data, provided a VB.Net GUI for the dispatchers, used Dynamic Programming to create optimized routes across a fleet of vehicles, uploaded those jobs to the drivers on-board terminals (typically a cell phone or tablet) and retrieved data input by those drivers into a back-end MS SQL database

 

He also directed and participated in the creation of XRoutes, Xora’a Vehicle Fleet Route Optimization module, as the Director of Route Optimization

While at Who’s Who International in Marina del Rey, CA, Robert was the  Chief Financial Officer/Controller, handled financial reporting from raw data through Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements. Helping to eliminate 66% of the staffing requirements to handle the accounting operations of the company by taking a paper system and computerizing it.

 

Robert has  a C. Phil (Phd. (ABD)) in Philosophy, M.A. in Economics from UCSB – Santa Barbara, CA and knowledge of  VB.Net + MS SQL, MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Basic 6.0, FoxPro.
